Maverick Studios is the in-house creative agency at Inspire Brands in Atlanta, GA. Our award-winning work in Creative/Design, Video/Photography Production Services, Print/Merchandising Management and Account/Project Management has created a positive and collaborative impact across all Inspire’s Shared Services and its 6 iconic brands to include Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s and Sonic. Our team is fully committed and passionate about providing best-in-class creativity, innovation, and continuous support. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Aligns with the culture and values of Inspire and ensures that creative and copy reflects them. + Collaborates with other members of the Brand teams to ensure that broader team goals are met. + Analyzes problems, anticipates consequences, and eliminates obstacles to successfully complete projects. + Manages and prioritizes projects within timelines for project milestones. + Crafts original concepts, execute copy based on established voice/tone, and collaborate with mid- and junior-level writers on copy execution. + Partners with the other Associate Creative Directors to concept, write, present, and defend work while addressing client needs. + Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across the company and agencies to ensure timely deliverables. **The Ideal Candidate** + Views his or her creativity as a way to solve problems and improve things. + “Has seen it, done it, and won it” before and is ready to help build the next phase of their career with what they have learned. + Has a natural curiosity and desire to learn and improve themselves, the work, and the businesses they support. + Has an outstanding portfolio showcasing digital and social platforms with strong conceptual thinking and leadership. + Can proficiently write in diverse copy styles across a range of assignments. + Concepts and collaborates on campaign ideas and digital tactics with a creative team while working on multiple projects. + Is well-versed in scriptwriting and in crafting both short and long-form content. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Ensure the culture and values of Inspire and brands is reflective in all content created. + Collaborate and support other members of the Studio to ensure that broader team goals are met. + Provide day to day management and leadership for the copywriting and proofing team. + Provide overall creative direction and feedback for your team of writers to create strategic, targeted and on-brand creative. + Assign, direct, review, improve and approve creative to ensure its quality, strategic integrity, and appropriate integration. + Manage approvals from other ACDs and VP as needed. + Contribute to presentations of creative solutions in the form of decks and live presentations. + Champion brand positioning at every point of contact and uphold creative standards. + Partner with communication and marketing colleagues in focusing and translating business partner needs into smart, measurable creative strategies. + Enable development of fresh, compelling creative concepts. + Continually refine workflow processes to better meet high-volume and high-quality partner needs. + Stay aware of major cross-brand initiatives and programs foreseeing changing needs. + Continually build and mentor/access creative talent on the team. + Continually develop the skillsets, expertise, and portfolio of Maverick Studios. + Along with the other ACD’s, lead the collaboration between copy and design withing creative services. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS** + 4-year degree or equivalent Graphic Design/Copywriting/Strategy/Art/Advertising degree combined with a promising portfolio of work, appropriate for the level of experience and opportunity one has had to date in this field. + Minimum 10 years of cDG1 copywriting and general multi-disciplinary creative leadership responsibility at a digital, marketing or communications agency (or equivalent corporate, in-house setting). Experience working with and/or for large national and global brands across a wide array of media, formats, platforms, and mediums including print, broadcast, digital/mobile/social, POP, outdoor and events/displays, video (restaurant, food and beverage brands a plus). **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES** + Patience, grace, and empathy for others. + A builder and a leader, who understands that to affect change, you must be that change. + Expert level knowledge of a wide array of media, including print, broadcast, online, social, outdoor, environmental, and event. + Experience working on multiple brands concurrently, and effectively apply best practices from one to another and understanding the nuances of each. + Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills through writing, creativity, and collaboration with teams of diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and expertise. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent concept presentation skills. + Strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence plus ability to advocate for doing the right thing for yourself, the team, the company, the brands, and the work. + Experience and ability to lead the work, and when necessary, step in as an individual contributor.
